4) Body Corporate "Rietvlei View CE Owners Association (RVOA)"
The Rietvlei View action committee realizes that participation of an organized, vibrant civil society is essential for having a sustainable representative body that will administrate and represent Rietvlei View CE. Owners are investing heavily in developing their homes to reflect a certain lifestyle with-out having a representative body maintaining the terms and conditions as set out in their title deeds to protect their investments. We believe that by introducing an administrative structure the investment made by each owner will be optimized which in turn will reflect an increase in property value, address the deterioration of infrastructure and support services as well as position Rietvlei View CE as a governed, prosperous and safe estate to live and invest in.
The action committee has over the past 3years engaged in various activities in trying to establish an administrative body that will take care of the day to day administrative requirements of Rietvlei View CE. We propose an organization that is a public, non-profit organization with the following objectives:
• To administrate members and associated fees
• To be the voice of Rietvlei View CE owners
• To represent and act on behalf of Rietvlei View CE owners
• To manage service providers operating in Rietvlei View CE
• To enhance and protect the character of Rietvlei View CE
• To ensure that title deed terms and conditions are enforced by relevant authorities
• To promote Rietvlei View CE
• To identify and implement projects of common interest
• To acquire necessary funds for the implementation of above mentioned objectives.
The name of the Organization is: Rietvlei View Country Estate Owners Association (RVOA). The organization is a body corporate with its own legal identity which is separate from its individual members. The organization shall continue to exist even if the members change. The organization may own property, enter into contracts, and sue or be sued in its own name.
The action committee invites all Rietvlei View CE owners / residents to become a member of this organization.
